COVID - 19 and Maternity Care

COVID-19 has had a huge impact on our day-to-day lives, and how we currently deliver care.  Under the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO), the BC Center for Disease Control (BC CDC), the Ministry of Health, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and the various committees and Infectious Disease specialist colleagues at BC Women's Hospital, our Terra Physicians have modified the way deliver care to you during pregnancy to ensure your ongoing safety.

Modified Schedule for Prenatal Visits during the COVID - 19 Pandemic

The number of antenatal visits have been streamlined to minimize in-person visits, and therefore, potential exposure to COVID-19 while continuing to ensure the healthy and safety of your pregnancy.

The number of visits can be modified on a case-to-case basis. Click on the link to see the BC CDC and Perinatal Services BC recommended in - person visit schedule.  These visits are usually interspersed with telehealth visits.
